Wild Grace: Couples Weekend in Alabama
A sacred space for couples to speak, listen and heal
Come Back to Each Other—Gently
Have you ever left a conversation feeling like you talked a lot… but didn’t truly connect? Like you keep returning to the same conflict, the same defensiveness, the same silence—without ever touching what’s really tender underneath? You love each other, and still, the closeness can feel harder to reach when life is full and old patterns take over.
The Wild Grace weekend gives one another something steadier than a quick celebration: time to slow down, breathe, and listen with intention. A sacred, supportive space to soften what’s grown tight, to be seen without judgment, and to begin again.
Wild Grace: A Couples Weekend is an invitation to step out of the noise and practice the kind of connection that renews love from the inside out.
Wild Grace: An Alabama Couples Weekend
Wild Grace is a weekend retreat for couples who want more than a getaway. It’s a chance to step out of the pace of everyday life, make room for God, and return to one another with steadiness and care.
In a setting designed for quiet and focus, you’ll practice practical, repeatable skills for the conversations that often feel hardest—how to speak clearly without attacking, how to listen without defensiveness, and how to stay present when emotions run high. With guidance, reflection, and simple communication tools, you’ll learn how repair happens and what forgiveness can look like in real time.
This weekend isn’t about “getting it right.” It’s about creating space to soften, to reconnect, and to begin again—together—with honesty and hope.
The Heart of Wild Grace
Wild Grace was created because the conversations couples avoid are often the very places intimacy is rebuilt.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll be invited to slow down and notice what you bring into conflict—old fears, past hurts, unmet longings, protective patterns. When those deeper stories are named with kindness (instead of acted out in tension), something shifts. Understanding grows. Compassion becomes possible.
You’ll be guided through research-informed relationship skills—along with reflective practices that support emotional and spiritual awareness—so you can move from reactivity toward connection. As you grow in clarity within yourself, you’ll have more freedom to meet your partner with empathy, courage, and love.
Because healing happens between you… and also inside you.
What You’ll Experience-
During Wild Grace, you’ll step away from the noise and into a rhythm of rest, reflection, and reconnection. Each session is thoughtfully crafted to help you speak honestly, listen deeply, and experience grace in new ways.
Through guided dialogue, sacred practices, movie clips, experiential exercises, and time in nature, you’ll begin to see each other (and yourself) with fresh eyes and softer hearts. Between sessions, you’ll have space to breathe, walk, and simply be together.
Led by two experienced therapists who have spent years walking with couples and families, Wild Grace offers more than insight—it offers presence, practice, and hope.
This is your invitation to remember what first brought you together, to rediscover grace in your story, and to reconnect with the One who makes love new again.
Who Wild Grace Is For
Wild Grace is for couples who genuinely care about one another but feel the strain that life can place on their connection. Maybe you’re busy, stretched thin, or caught in the same cycle—misunderstandings, shutdown, sharp words, silence, or unresolved tension.
This weekend is for couples who want to:
slow down and rebuild emotional safety
learn skills that de-escalate conflict
strengthen communication and repair
feel warmth and friendship return
invest intentionally in the marriage you’re building
Led by two seasoned therapists with decades of combined experience, Wild Grace offers a structured, supportive environment where you can do meaningful work—without pressure to perform, and without needing your relationship to be in crisis to benefit.
Because your marriage matters, and it’s worth tending to with care.

How Many Couples Will Attend?
Wild Grace is meant to feel intimate, calm, and personal—not crowded. For that reason, we’re limiting the weekend to 10 couples. This size allows each couple to receive meaningful guidance and have room to settle in, reflect, and stay connected throughout the weekend.
Sara and David also believe there’s something powerful about being in a thoughtfully held community—where couples can recognize shared humanity, learn from one another’s growth, and remember they’re not the only ones navigating hard seasons. With a group this size, the environment stays warm and safe while still making space for honest conversation, laughter, and real encouragement.
