At Wild Grace Encounters, we offer in‑person continuing education experiences designed to support the professional growth, self‑awareness, and relational presence of counselors and therapists.

Our Professional Education Series provides thoughtful, practical learning environments where clinicians can deepen their work, strengthen the therapeutic alliance, and continue growing as practitioners.

All trainings are NBCC‑approved continuing education programs and are offered in person in Alabama.

Continuing Education That Goes Beyond Information

Many continuing education programs focus primarily on delivering content.

Our approach is different.

At Wild Grace Encounters, we believe meaningful professional development happens when knowledge, reflection, and lived experience come together. Our trainings combine evidence‑informed concepts with structured reflection, practical clinical tools, and space for thoughtful dialogue.

The goal is not simply to learn something new.

The goal is to become a steadier, more aware, and more effective clinician.

Wild Grace Encounters is seeking approval to offer Staying Curious When Our Stories Are Activated,” for continuing credit. Please check back for updates.

What Makes Our Workshops Different

More Than a Lecture — An Experiential Learning Encounter

Our workshops are designed to be more than traditional lecture-based trainings.

Through guided reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, participants will be invited to explore their own clinical experiences in a thoughtful and supportive environment.

Our Approach

Wild Grace Encounters was founded on a simple belief:

Most clinicians entered this profession because they care deeply about helping others.

That care matters.

Our trainings assume good faith, professional integrity, and a shared commitment to growth.

Rather than focusing on criticism or correction, our continuing education experiences emphasize:

  • Curiosity

  • Professional humility

  • Awareness of our own internal processes

  • Protection of the therapeutic alliance

  • Sustainable and empirically proven clinical practice

We believe that good clinicians become even stronger when they are given space to reflect, learn, and refine their work.

  • The Wild Grace Encounters Educational Series offers continuing education workshops for counselors, therapists, and other mental health professionals. These trainings focus on therapist self‑awareness, ethical clinical practice, relational dynamics, and protecting the therapeutic alliance. Each workshop combines clinical theory, ethical reflection, and practical skills that therapists can apply directly in their work with clients.

Each training is designed to deepen therapists’ awareness of how their own internal experiences influence the therapy room.

  • Many continuing education trainings focus primarily on theory or clinical techniques. Wild Grace workshops integrate clinical knowledge with therapist self‑reflection and practical application.
